What we did next.....
To make our trip possible we had to split the group into diffrent teams in which we were responible for diffrent asspects of the trip. There was five diffrent groups which are visitor attraction, accommodation and financial, transport, admin and communication and the fund raising team. To find out what teams we would be in we all had to do a self perception test made by Doctor Meredith Belbin. We had to answer a series of questions answering them by giving them points out of ten. I resulted in being a team worker with 20 points. According to Doctor Meredith Belbin being a team worker means that you have the following qualities of being socially orientated, being mild and sensistive. And being able to respond to people and to situations and to promote team spirit, I agree with this. This meant that it was best if I was teamed up with someone who resulted in being Implementer. I was then teamed up with my friend Kaleigh and it was then decided we was in charge of the accommodation and finance's of the trip. We then had to explain why we wanted to be part of the accomodation and finance team I said that I enjoy maths which is good when it comes to being in the finance team and helping with the accommodation costs and that I have never checked into a hotel before and would like to do it. Being on the Accommodation and finance team meant we had to deal with sorting out the room arrangments as we have 10 girls, one boy and two teachers with us. We also have to book and find the most suitable hostel to stay at. We have to sort out the booking fees, the budget table if it has altered in price and we have to keep the all of the recipts for the fundraising, accommodation, flight, attractions as we are the finance team aswell. We havent yet picked where we will be staying but i will post it as soon as i find out :)
