Booking the flights

On Monday the 9th of January Megan and Kristy who are on the flight team booked our flight tickets to Prague. We origionally planned on booking the flights on the 9th - 12th of May. However they found out that booking the flights on the 10th - 13th of May would be cheaper by approximatly £15. We all agreed that we wanted to save the extra £15. As we are travelling for 3 nights we decided that we would travel with hand luggage only saving us another £60. This would also get us through the airport quicker on both sides. We also found out that our hand luggage dimentions had to be 56cm x 45cm x 25cm weighing no more than 10kg. We also found out that you can take liquids no more than 10 x 100 ml in a clear recelable bag.

During this meeting we also found out from the transport team that transport to and from the airport would cost £1. which is very cheap as it is a half and hour journey.

The fundraising team discussed more proposals which they have came up with to raise more money for the NSPCC and for our trip. They decided they was going to do a cake sale on mothers day were everyone in the class will contribute by bringing in cakes. And the selling of roses on valentines day. They did also discuss a car wash when the wether gets a bit hotter.

We also had a look at what accommodation options me and Kaleigh had found. We found a hostel called Hostel Baraka however the accomodation arrangements were 5,5 and a 3 we discussed this and found out this wouldnt be sutiable and we had to look more along the lines of 6 x 5 x 2 or a 5 x 5 x 1 x 1 x 1 or a 4 x 4 x 4 x 1. So Kaleigh and i were on the search for some more accommodation address's, contact numbers , location , pictures, maps , room arragements. And another job i have to do is to create a currency conversion table and a finance table.

The class also need to remember to bring there European Helth Insurance cars and passports and EV4 form by the 14th of January.
